Age Verification
Introduction
The Licensing act 2003 has been changed to make it a condition of all premises licences
and club premises certificates that a policy of age verification is in place in relation to the
sale and supply of alcohol. This course will provide you with a 'model policy', explain what
procedures you need to follow to verify the age and ID of young customers, and provide
some scenario training so that you can deal effectively with the conflict that sometimes
arises when sales are refused.
